WHAT DOES THE HOST RECEIVE?

EXPOSURE

• Invitations promoting your event will be distributed via e-Blast to RAC’s exclusive database which contains nearly 8,000 local business professionals (approx. 70% Russian/30% American)

• Event to be published on RAC’s website Home Page and Calendar of Events

• Event to be publicized via RAC’s social media channels

• Invitation promoting your event and your company shall be published in RAC’s eNewsletter

• Photos of your event to be published on RAC’s website Photo Gallery

• Photos of your event to be published in RAC’s eNewsletter

CREATE UNIQUE RELATIONSHIPS

• RAC will bring a crowd of people to your event. This is your opportunity to build relationships with all guests as each of them is a potential client or referral source. Remember each of the guests is in attendance specifically for your event…. so it is your time to shine.

• Typical RAC Business Mixers range from 50 to 200 guests and takes place on the 2nd Thursday of every month.  Annual holiday parties and gala type events range from 200 to 400 guests (restrictions apply to gala type events, inquire within).

 

CREDIBILITY

• By hosting an event you put your company on the map through extensive exposure and gain instant credibility.

• ​Get on people’s radar.  Guests will always remember you hosted an event and will remember you next time they meet someone in need of your services

• By hosting an event you will become a leader in the Russian American community by being a part of Bringing People Together

 

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE HOST?

• Provide a minimum of 5 to 7 different hors d’oeuvres for guests
  NOTE:  This is your time to shine!  This is a minimum requirement. Some guests prefer to go the extra mile and far exceed minimal requirements so their event stays in people’s minds. After all, this is your time to get guests to remember your event and remember you! (Estimated number of guests will be provided 2 days prior to event)

• Provide wine and soft drinks for guests. If host is a restaurant or hotel, they may choose to provide one or two free drink tickets followed by cash bar. Tickets may be provided by RAC if requested ahead of time.

• Provide company logo in JPEG or PNG format to RAC 4 weeks prior to event to be sent to info@racsouthflorida.com. If host is a restaurant or hotel, it is wise to also provide 3 to 4 photos of the venue.  If host chooses to include a special promotion for guests, detailed instructions and details should be provided at this time.

• 4 weeks prior to event, host must advise RAC of what they intend to provide at event so that it may be promoted accordingly. The more information about your event you provide the more appealing your event will be. Don’t forget to provide special instructions such as parking, etc.

• Provide registration table and two chairs to be placed at the entrance of the event·        

• Events take place from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  RAC staff will arrive at 4:30 pm to set up registration

MEMBERS ONLY EVENTS:  ARE YOU A SMALL BUSINESS AND WISH TO HOST A “SMALL AND INTIMATE” EVENT?

• Some businesses wish to host an event but cannot accommodate the typical large crowd of a RAC event. We have the answer!  Host a MEMBERS ONLY event and we will keep the crowd to a minimum.  Members Only events range from 40 to 80 people.

• ​Get most of the exposure of a typical event --- but attract a smaller crowd of people.

• Members love Member to Member events because it allows them to network on a more personal level and develop intimate relationships. Plus members enjoy referring business to other members.

• Requirements for hosts of Members Only Events as same as RAC’s Business Mixer Events detailed above.

TO BOOK AN EVENT:

Events are reserved on a first come first serve basis and must be approved by the Board of Directors prior to booking.  Interested hosts shall email their proposal to host an event to info@racsouthflorida.com.  Proposal shall include the location of the event as well as a description. Typical RAC event structure is a professional business networking event. Seminar-type events are reserved for RAC general sponsors. Dates may only be booked during the term of your membership.
